In most cases, though, by the time the flurry would have been appropriate, the enemy is so hurt that I figure they'll be dead in a couple rounds (so why risk a flurry when bash is highly unlikely to miss and I'm already outdamaging?)

Then they end up parrying LAMMF or something and combat continues and I feel silly.

But another point is evade. Yes, it's only a 1/10 chance or whatever (at best) but busting out a 4-round-lag skill that does nothing to lag the enemy (and can allow them to wimpy), coupled with the chance of it completely missing (and still lagging for 4 rounds) made me say "screw that. Bash." quite often.

Soayel's post below is pretty accurate - and a lot of the logs I have from later in life (when I had two nodisarm swords instead of a noremove sword) involve me switching to HTH against bash-protection-types, so they will probably be more interesting.
