Chapter 2

Scene Three:

Years have passed, and the vision settles upon the Longbranch Pub nestled
in the city of Hillcrest. Behind the locked doors of the pub's fabled
"Champagne Suite", two figures roll around in the heart shaped bed amidst
sweaty silk sheets and moans of heated pleasure. A skinny man, garbed in
only a white feathered boa, grabs a set of manacles and shackles the tiny
hands of a deep-gnome woman to the bed posts. Atop the dresser, a shiny
glint of metal catches the eye emanating from a strange contraption that
resembles a metal leg. As the erotic vision continues and the night shifts
towards the wee hours of the morning, the skinny man can be seen gathering
up his belongings, taking personal care to account for everything, starting
with a badge sitting next to the mechanical leg on the dresser. All of a
sudden, the svirfneblin woman begins to the stir just as the man begins to
reach for his boa hanging on the bedpost. With a look of worry, he darts
towards an open window in the far side of the room, just as the deep-gnome
wakes up. The man, with his belongings crumpled up in his arms, jumps out
the window bare assed as the woman's pale white face reddens. A look of
utter heart break and anguish befalls her as her eyes swell with tears.
