For the first time in 7-8yrs of playing, I made a elf pally. Goddamn, I loved it. It was one of the best chars I have ever made. After Edika, I needed something that can see hidden and still be viable in combat.

I start each char from "fresh", that is, as if I am playing for the first time. I start all over again with everybody. Even if I knew you from my previous char, my newer char starts off as new. I take this philosophy to heart. So if I haven't been to any area with new char, I mention that I have never been there before. In the char's life its a confirmable truth.

I almost deleted this char once. When Ticoy full-looted (even Good_Only gear, like the thin bracelets) after I fell to him in Galadon. Later he just returned my sword and mace and kept everything. I was pissed, but tried to regear myself and then Yaniyule assulted me when I had like 4 pieces of gear. I think that was the second time I broke my RP and mentioned to him "Seems like you guys are trying to make sure that I die forever." Yaniyule backed off (Thanks). The first time I broke my Role was when I asked Valkyneth for help with sword and later on with try to fight off rot&wither by Yaniyule. I remember Wuuble fell right after to Yaniyule and I had to return all things. Except the sack made from the corpse of Artenno. It was one of my most prized procession after that.

I had fun running around with many of you (I do not remember any names right now).
Lamanee, you were interested in Provost and wanted my help to send a note to Marcatis that I am cool with your decision. Which I was. But after you got Provost, I felt you got powertrip. ONLY One time I asked you about that test and you went BERSERK as how you have the power to throw me in the street. But that was the only time I asked for the test and I felt like power has gone to you head. I think I mentioned something to Venty over "LD". Other than that situation, it was awesome to work shoulder-to-shoulder with you.

Ventdunord, you were awesome. I was so surprised that it took you so long to get Provincial.

Valkyneth, that one time I was on bad connection and I was running from Voralian to Hamsah when you asked why I haven't went to retrieve yet. I saw you in Hamsah and told you that I had opposition and I am going back to retrieve. I thought I pissed you off more because I kept quiet/delayed response to many things you asked me to do.

Yaniyule. I always thought you were played by Marcatis. I will go as far as calling you my arch-nemesis. Our times matched perfectly as we both were on on weekdays between 9-5. If I logged in after 5pm, I knew you be gone or trying to get out. I used the telnet to connect and I don't type real fast and often make mistake when I am trying to PK. So, no alias or tag, nothing. Even with retribution virtue, I could not do anything to you. I had to type "co 'light of heaven' Yani" and if I made a mistake in there, I got the message "Huh?"

Matren, you got me one time when I was link dead in Hamsah Guild. Before you got me, I made you run at convulsing cause shieldbash missed and I was close to 60% of my health. Next time, if you wish a good fight, do not fight link dead people. Clues to my link dead situation: No sanc, no guards and no supplications casted at you.

All other Enemies, I sat at the Soup Kitchen because I didn't want a BIG 'OL target painted on my back that you can attack and maybe get away.

MARCATIS. Loved you. I went back to you more often than I can remember. Loved your philosophical outlook on everything. Admired you patience with me even when I as dead-wrong. I think I have been looking for an IMM like yourself for so long. Dude, you are one hell of a IMM. When I come back to CF, I have to figure out what other role I can do and not sound like Asthania to you. I think I was close to gaining access to your shrine. I loved talking to you for hours and not even mention anything happening at the Spire. I don't think I even told you that I wanted to be a Justiciar. First time we communicated was when Valkyneth was off for sometime without any Provincial around. Second time was when you sort of said "Good Luck with your new post, Provincial."

Ardryll. I made me a believer that Two-Handed pally can tank. Thanks for being there when I was frustrated about the Shield of pure light when we were the only Pally around and I was shield dedication. Pissed me off so bad that some F#@! head was holding on to Paladin_Only shield. I was thinking to ask you to help me with defiance if I ever decided to go there to get it.

I am sorry that I am missing so many people. I usually have all my Goodbyes written before my char is gone. But this time, this time we all know was lil different.

Reason for not ranking: At first I only grouped with people who were of the light and never were warranted. Later on it became clear as that pool became less. I tried not to group with people who were not on my PK list. Later on in my life, I started to group with occasional criminals. And if there was a possibility to getting raided, I avoided ranking.

You did two things that annoyed me.

1. I felt like you were bossing me around. Especially when you told me to go hit up Marcatis for induction. I resisted the idea and you got all huffy.

2. The deal when you flipped out and said you were going to full loot all outlanders because one guy treated you poorly. Or maybe it was Empire, I forget. There was some back and forth on cb.

But damn...you sure made ranking easy.

I'm sorry if interacting with Esteldu left a sour taste in your mouth. I was truly pushing the two phase RP and was hoping to clean up and make it up to you. My first phase was going to be quite obnoxious and I realized at some point that I was too nice to everyone... once you and I butted heads a bit... you were a perfect outlet to execute that RP.

I do hope that going through Tribunal and becoming a Provincial gave you an opportunity to learn the Tribunal law a bit better.

I really enjoyed our interactions. I hope I didn't come across as an ass some of the times, but if I did, it was all IC. Lamanee at first really liked Asthania, but as she grew and became more... Eager for war? She started to dislike you somewhat. The times Lamanee got upset with you she showed it (Or at least I really tried to make it obvious). That time when we were leveling on the arial guards was quite funny. Lamanee was trying to prove to herself that she could hold her own and you kept proving her wrong by healing her or NOT healing her etc. Had a blast with you!

Aaah, reading all these goodbye threads really do make me miss CF... But then again, reinstalled my comp, dumped all my CF info I've accumulated over the past years. + my client, my aliases etc. (Actually tried to get myself another client today but weren't up for paying for one, + Vista doesn't have telnet... DOH!)

Just as an advice for any future tribunals you create, you shouldnt be immediately biased against evils aka orcs.

I played Guthulk, and to be honest, you should hesistate before warranting someone when your "witnesses" are two nexuns and another gnome mage and the "attacker" says all three attacked him. And if you go ahead with warranting anyways, you should at least fess up and tell who the witnesses are, not "none of your business." imo, I didn't really like this char. Though on the positive side, you weren't half as bad as Mr. Wind of the North.

I guess I can only blame myself since I ironically was the one who inducted and promoted you before.

.... Lamanee from time to time refused to give out the names of witnesses to make sure they did not suffer from helping her. As a goodie elf I am quite certain that Asthania could have felt even more of that.

And ofc, there is the ooc reason that one can't help but use from time to time... You just don't want to argue with the criminal for the 10000th time. But you've played enough tribs to know that yourself. Everyone knows the law better than current magistrates, right? hehe (Been there, done that...)

I keep a word document of all people I have warranted + witness and what they said. After 1week, I delete that file and start a new one. I only gave out names to Provost and of course CCed it to Marcatis to keep him in the loop. Spire Immortal and in this case my Lord.

I usually told whomever I warranted that if you think I wrongly marked, send a note to the Spire, the Provost and Marcatis. I will be more than willing to defend myself with them. The rule/laws does not say that I have to say who my witnesses were.

I don't think I marked anyone wrongly with Asthania. I did not remove any flags for sure. I marked and brought to justice Goodies more than I did evils. One goodie bard (forgot his name) I killed him in the sewers when he was warranted. He deleted right after.

I feel that when people see Paladin as a Magistrate, the Evils assult him/her for being corrupt and the Goodies call him/her names for protecting evils. Its frustrating when people just start with being biased.

But I got screwed by a different trib, and when I mentioned it, everybody assumed I must be talking about you. Heh.

Asthania was a character that really grew on me, but all in all i think it is you i should be thinking. You went through a stage that was constantly leaving sets of midnight gear and swords on the ground in the galadon cabal and i rolled completely out of random, got this full set and everything and you that really gave me a great head start.

It was ashame that you didnt claim the provost, It is in Ardryll's opinion that many of the tribunal were corrupt and in league with the imperials, (to the point he was ready to prepare to have the fortress take an over through force and put you in charge haha.)

I thought it would of been pretty cool (it was in my role and isnt as extreme for ardryll as some would of though)

I enjoyed our actions, and i know how boring a tribunal can be but it was always a great experience when you were around

It's probably just my perception, but it seemed like you played a lot of 10 minute sessions when you would login to see a handful of nasty criminals in your range rampaging around Galadon.

I also recall you logging in a couple minutes after a Tribunal died in town. You flagged me before he could, which I thought was rather convenient, even if it was innocent. The problem was that you quit out a couple minutes later.

Either way, you obviously did a lot of stuff right based on your position and whatnot. Good luck and all.
