I've never been to keen on seekers.
"Apathy is a sin" is one of my sayings...and though the seekers fight
for a "cause", they have such a cold view (at least in my eyes) about
everything else that they're calloused. Much like today's youth! }>

Anywho, I've never been good with neutrals.

Excellent pker, I was suprised to feel wary around a warrior when you were around. I never even came close to beating you. You never seemed interested in debating or talking.

Good luck on the next

Sorry, haven't fought you in so long that I almost forgot about ya!
Anyway, I'm glad I gave ya the heeby-jeebies at least...
And as far as talking goes, you were a half-drow and a necromancer,
AND a Scion. You didn't have much going for you in the eyes of a
lightwalking warder. Also, I was tired of having virtually the same
gripe with warlock after warlock and Scions only seemed to ever want
to converse if they wanted a pissing match...and I really didn't like
hearing that over and over and over again. Anyway, sorry if ya felt
slighted.

Thanks for replying though.

Oh not slighted, I tried to present myself to you as 'not just another Scion'. I suppose it didn't work. You might've been suprised to interact with me. Nevertheless, next time.

I wish one of us had the balls to actually fight the other. All of our encounters ended up me running to a place where I could hide, and you running to a place where you could camo. From what I can see of your logs, you were an animal, but I'm a bit of an animal myself. Would have been interesting. In any case, good luck, Zonny.

My original scheme for Loranessa came to me a long time ago. I wanted
to make a character modeled after a pirate (to some extent), a pirate
who turned towards hating magic for (enter reason). Anyway, Zardik up
and snatched my idea, or at least the better half, for himself. So
I revamped the whole shabang and opted for a snooty, bitchy woman with
some big, mean arms. I have only ever played on rager, and that was
over 3 years ago, so I kinda wanted to see what was up with that whole
scene...however, my other character had some very painful
encounters with people simply because he couldn't hide well enough.
Also, he just didn't have that one big thing that ruins every fight,
and that's an ability to lag an opponent when he's about to word, flee,
vanish, whatever. Loranessa, however, solved all of my problems. She
could deal a ton of raw damage, could lag people many ways (or so I
thought) and so on and so forth. Being such an inexperienced warrior
player, as I've never played one above level 35, and I can count my
warrior characters on one hand, I didn't know that "cranial" was going
to be such a gamble. More often than not I'd whack someone over the
head, only to have them flee before my next command could get in.
Also, I'm never picking swords again...at least not as a giant. They're
not half as defensive as I thought they'd be. I should have gone with
my gut and chosen spears.

I'm not going to dwell on warrior mechanics forever here. So, on to
why I deleted.

Why did I delete Loranessa?
Well, to put it simply, the character became more of a drag than fun.
I spent a ton of time gathering preps, and often times they got dispeled
or just didn't do enough for me against my more potent enemies. I
don't mind dying, and I never have...it's getting full-sac'd and
taunted by my foes (not talking about Vazanir and Kurredeor here)
when more often than not I was fighting shitty odds. I don't, and
never have seen what people get out of full-sac'ing people's things.
It's a complete dickhead move, and it seems to be the way of people
on this game nowadays. So, just to warn you all, I'm going to be much
more harsh with what I do to people's gear from now on.
Also, about the whole Sylvan situation. I don't know if you (Uller and
Sebeok) were just watching me and Boldy for a while before making a
decision, or had already decided who you were picking...or whatever,
some interaction would have been nice. My characters' shitty attempt
at an Osarin guard left me with little to no Immteraction...and that's
just one of the things that I like to do when I make a character.
Anyway, the Grove is in complete ##### right now. There are so many
deserving applicants who have been sitting around forever because no
one will be made Captain. I was sick of waiting, and I was sick of
having almost no back-up against my 6 to 12 enemies at any given time.
I hope you guys make Boldy the Captain soon. I had a feeling he was
the choice anyway. I'm just sorry I won't be fighting alongside you
anymore.

Farewells:

Sylvans:
Or should I say Sylvan? The majority of this cabal got busted for
cheating (At least that's the word on the grapevine), and the player's
who didn't cheat got fucked for it. There was at least 3 or four hero
sylvans when I was coming up in the ranks, then when I hit Hero they
all just disappeared. Convieniently, Scion ranks swelled. I'd like to
add that they seem to have the same telepathic ability as those ex-
sylvans of logging in in clusters. Hey, might just be coincidence.

Boldereth: I didn't like you to begin with, as I thought you were bit
pompous at times. However, you quickly became one of my best pals, and
I honestly looked forward to seeing you when I logged in. I think you
do well, and I also recommend that you just kinda hover at the rank
you're at. Hero is bloody. You'll make a fine Captain, if the Imms
ever decide on it. Of course, if they were trying to figure out which
of us would be it, you win by default now.

Yodinfrid: I wish you were around a lot more, but honestly, I can
understand why you wouldn't want to be. The funny thing is, we'd both
enjoy being around more if others would show up. In any case, you were
savage indeed.

Weswin: Show up.

Priolith: I wondered at times if you were possessed by some demon that
fed off of carnage, as you always seemed eager to kill. But hey, you
were a skilled player...cheating, however, doesn't do ##### but make
the game less enjoyable. I'm proof.

Orophin: Heh, you dumbass . After Janroth killed you, I walked in
and slaughtered him after he had reverted. I think you deleted or were
denied for cheating, or something, after that. Funny thing is, I was
holding most of your good ##### for ya. Even your pendant. I used it
for a long time, until I died. Anyway, it was nice having your spells.

Ademusian: You goof! I heard you talking over the cb about dying like
3 times within 45 minutes! Don't be so reckless! Heh, you need to hang
in there...sylvan needs a bard.

Manecit: Too bad you're not around. I probably wouldn't have deleted.
But like I said, I understand why ya did it.

Sorilath: Show up, sylvan needs the youngbloods to come up!

Targaryen: Same as above.

Alysrith: Vorsweni, K'Sra.

All the applicants who've been approved: Good luck to all of you, and
I hope you can revive the Pack.

AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Scion: Bastards :p
You guys were truly a horde. There are a few that had the cohones to
fight me solo, but usually that was only when I forced an encounter.

Tilaen: You finally got me. I had imagined you just burning with anger
that, being as powerful as you are, you just could never get me. I
got you once when we were younger, and I was raiding, and once when
you raided the grove solo, to taunt me. I loved that encounter just
because I finally whooped ya with your shields and all. Anyway, a
little more experience and you'll do really well. You're tough already
grasshopper, but if I had a mage, I'm confident I could win.
Good luck.

Ahmed: You're the epitomy of Arial dexterity. I think I landed one
boneshatter on your ass (and I had it perfected). I whooped you a few
times when we were younger...but as I lost gear to pk's and stopped
being so zealous with preps, you started doing better. Good luck.

Zordrimauk: Fucking #####. I don't like you, and I don't like your
method of playing. I stomped you several times solo...and you only
ever did well when you were prepped up the ass...and you're one of the
advocates of full-sac'ing and talking ##### when you gang someone.
I just don't like you.

Vazanir: You never said a thing. You were just some scary friggin owl
that could always find me. I don't know why I can't parry a form
for #####, and I don't know why your owl could dodge me so well. They
might as well make it a defensive form. Anyway, you were very tough,
but how can I compliment on a player's skill when all they have to do
is flyto;shape lion;rake?
Anyway, I'm sure you're going to be the next Viornsra. Tell me, did
you just get fed up with good aligned characters in the past and
decided to become the cookie-cutter to kill them all? I always wonder
that about such a blatantly PK form combo.

Dullameh: We never tangled much...and I'm glad. Good luck.

Battle: You guys seemed pretty cool with us. I guess we had so many
mutual enemies that it was just stupid not to be friends. You guys
are going to have a helluva rough time.

Entropy: I'm Entropy's #1 fan, always have been. Zandrumial, we had a
weird sort of history, but turned out friends in the end.
Krogum, you're cool. Nadran, you're one hunted bard. Thyka...psycho.

Warlocks: If it wasn't the Scion horde, it was the Warlock horde. The
combination of two powerful enemies made my life rough. I am, however,
happy with my performance. I managed to pull off some real guerilla
warfare on you guys while you were all trying to corner me. It was
fun! Special mention goes to Lithmowa, for being a everything I'd
expect a warlock to be. Aloof, enlightened, and tough as nails.

If I forgot anyone, well, there's a lot of people to mention, so don't
take offense.

I might be taking a break for a while, until I think of something to
eradicate people in large groups.

Loranessa.

I was debating on if I should respond or not, but I guess I will so that you or others can always learn from your mistakes.

My first interaction with you..was a bit soured. You were somewhat brash in your manner when approaching (and your accent was fucking hard to get past. No offense. I kept on thinking of pepe la pue) But as well, alot of your actions in your youth didn't speak all that well (for the Vanguard at least) as they were perhaps rash. Yet there is alawys a chance to redeem one's self and I would never fully count that out. Yet every time I would try to watch you, to see if I could see something to interact with, I got nothing. Following and watching I would either see you sitting for periods of time doing nothing, or in a group ganking down people with team sylvan.

Is Vahlen a hard ass who demands a strict desciplin to something? Yep, and this may be the sticking point for many. He's hard to follow as he is stoic and often flat in his responce to things, as each thing is well measured out and thought through. Yet if you bust your ass, he as well does the same for you.

Good luck on the next char

--I honestly did most things solo with this character. 90% of my pk's
were solo...so I guess this must have been just bad luck. And what
exactly did I do that was rash? You have to understand that ever
character I make has a story to be told. With you, I was told, very
bluntly, that I would never be an Osarin. What's worse is that you
would say this, and then immediately go wizi, so I could never find
out where I fucked up. I saw you countless times and hailed you, but
all I got was silence. To be honest, it was grating my nerves as a
player, not just Loranessa's. That may just be your style...but eh,
it doesn't promote anyone *trying* to follow you. And the times when
I sat and did nothing were usually times when I had checked all the
patrols, when there was no one around, and when I just wanted to stay
logged in as an act of good faith, and to show that I didn't want to
be some crap character who logged in once a month to check notes.
Also, as I pretty much figured any chance of having a decent spot
within your religion was gone, it left only Sylvan to keep me busy,
and often times, there simply wasn't anything going on...so that's
why I'd sit there, waiting for something to happen.

The first thing that I was sort taken aback was the assumptions that were made of Osarin and the vanguard within your role. You had some things in there that just didn't make sence with the religion or the history/past of it. But that was a personal matter. (side note: No one will ever become an Osarin, as thats the name of the dragon. I think what you were searching for was the Vanguard)

Your right on the wizi part as I had a few reasons with it. First being was I wanted you to search out and come up with your own answers. To make your life better, balanced and self desciplined by your own actions. Not me having to tell you how to do these things.
The other function of going wizi was then to watch you and see if you actually did anything or just sit around. I guess I must have caught you on the down times.

"I saw you countless times and hailed you, but all I got was silence."

I usualy dont respond to tells, as when I vis I get quite a few from all sorts of people wanting to "just say hi". Those who I know to be followers, I do watch though I may not give tells. As well, many will notice immteractions through mobs they interact with (as Theerkla was talking about with the Man-at-arms). Or as Divox once had a guildmaster talk with him on how to fight better (when the damn gnome was still young and not annoying ;P) There are many other things which drive interactions with followers (echos being a big one) but tells I'm not all that big on. The less you hear from Vahlen, the better your doing. He's that stern vet that sits in the corner and only nods with a

A goof eh? Its a shame to lose you, your the only one who seemed to be present at the same times as me. I may have died 3 times within 45 minutes but I've been counting and I've only had a total of 5 deaths, which isn't bad for a weak bard like me. Still, I'll get hero one day. Lets hope this scion war turns around soon, you certainly put up an interesting fight. I remember the time a short while back when I bailed you out of that whirlpool incident, I'm still a bit of a newbie so I have to say thats the first time I've bailed anyone bigger than I am out of trouble. Kinda felt good. Do us a favour and make sure your next character isn't a Scion... leave that one for when we finally beat them down again.

Ademusian, Singer of Sorrow... again.

PS. If I'd known about your death a bit sooner I'd have already composed a song about you, sorry. I'll do one soon!

Full-sacing isn't going to stop people from full-sacing. (Do the math.)

Or: what you really seem to mean (reading between the lines) is "full sacing hurts, and I'm gonna start dishing out some of that hurt".

Or: (this is based on comparing what you seem to be saying and what you seem to mean) you deleted her, so you might want to think about dropping her personality, in favor of your own.

Or not *shrug*, but be aware of what you're doing.

I'm going to stop being nice, and start being more of a #####.
If it were some real life scenario I'd persevere, but seeing as how CF
is a game, I'm going to use it as an out for my mean side, thus
giving strength to the evil of full-sac'ing.

Heh, that's what I like to hear. Loranessa was actually one of Zandrumial's older friends. As a player, I always thought Loranessa had a lot of spark, and was fun to interact with. I'm sorry to see you go. You should have said something to Zandrumial about your predicament, he'd have helped you out (in his own way).

As a sidenote, if you don't like people full-saccing, doing it yourself is only going to make it worse, and saying you're going to do it on the forum really isn't going to help. But oh well, despite Zandrumial's outlook on possessions, as a player I know how utterly frustrating it is to have all that nice stuff you worked so hard to get just destroyed by some ass.

Basically, no matter how nice you try to be, some bastard will always
accuse you of full-looting or full-sac'ing, then get everyone he knows
in game, as well as OOC to have it done to you. It's complete crap,
and unfortunately there's no way around it. Now, though I speak in
anger about doing it to other people, I never said I was going to do
it to *everyone*. I'll pick my victims. The point is, I'm going to
begin *considering* it. Whereas before, that was never part of my
philosophy. Hey, they made me evil. =p

Anyway, seeya around Zandrumial.

When I see you name that is the first thing that comes to mind. The day I talked to you about your religion I had just gotten to talk to Sebeok, and was just wondering what path you where lead to. Other than that I enjoyed your character. I got really frustrated with a few things that were going on that I will post when my character leaves the realms forever, this is why I stopped showing up. For a while me and Vortalscon along with orophin where savage group, a small pack that was unstoppible. but on the other hand I enjoyed the time that I fought with you, or was signed in with you. I believe I suggested against swords with mace as your first, but you seemed to be set in your ways so not much more I could do on that. I do sign on for about 6-8 hours a week, or did When I started to not come around, but Im more of a night person so I never saw you hardly. About the leadership I dont know if any around would lead the pack well at this point, but I know that there needs to be more applicants or sylvan is just gonna drown'd again. Its too bad that With the powers that use to be handed out with little RP responsibility are replaced with poor ass and big RP responsibilities are hard to deal with. Especialy if One canteen cannot put out a fire, and I cannot create a spring =P. I really doubt you wanna read much more than this. So I leave it to you to E-mail me if you wish to speak more.
Thanks alot Willow,

Bah, you forgot me and I am offended. Damn, I enjoyed our interactions, and the end of our personal conflict. I hated fighting you as my char for the same reason you mentioned, and I hated fighting you personally twofold: You were almost always outnumbered (which I tried to even up by fighting you and Weswin or you and Barnabeh) and you were skilled enough to kill me if I made the smallest mistake. Well done, hope you come back.

As an enemy who I don't think ever fought you with the advantage of numbers, and doesn't full-loot/sac, a mention would have been nice. *chuckle* But hey, such is life. And when the war kicked off, it was pretty evenly matched, given that Iillien was about the only scion.

You seemed a fairly competant warrior to me. I had a couple of close calls fighting you. Once when you were with Priolith and the lemur with me didn't try to distract, and once when you were with Sahannara and you lagged me while she ran in and out ambushing. Both times I was lucky to escape. Nearly got you at least once just before the Sahanarra fight.

As far as the sudden appearance of all the scions, I was wondering the same. But then, it could just be coincidence.

As far as saccing goes, I hope you restrict it to those who do it to you. Otherwise someone else is going to be in the position you are saying "<insert name of your next character> sacced all my stuff. I'm going to do that from now on."

Sorry about not mentioning you, but compared to all other warlocks,
you and I had the least amount of fights...and, in fact, I don't think
either of us ever died to each other.

Anyway, in my "Final word on full-sac'ing" which I posted below, I
amended it to "I will pick and choose who I do it to, but I WILL begin
doing it to some."

And when I say Warlock horde, it's basically my memory of Aristen,
Craine, and Lithmowa that one time, going balls out to try and kill
me. That was actually pretty fun, aside from the near futility of the
situation. Lots of times I would end up fighting 2 warlocks instead
of one, or they'd jump in on one of my fights, etc. But to be honest,
you guys aren't nearly as bad as Scions. With them, every fight was
a little tainted, because the moment I would catch one solo and they'd
flee, I would do a "whois v" and see that Vazanir had shifted, which
meant he was coming, or while I was getting out of the area I'd run
into 2 or 3 scions coming in. I guess that's what I get for being a
pest .

Good luck with the Scions.

Heh shame to see another warrior go, epsecialy one who was always up for a good clean fight. Those couple times you killed me defending the village changed my whole outlook, and snapped me out of level 30 'warriors can destroy anything' mentality (but you were hasted, right?). Unfortunately I don't have any logs, but there was one fight we had in the weald much later where you did land a boneshatter and I managed to flee with like 13 hp. Ouch. See you in the fields.

I was hasted for most of our earlier battles. And I'm glad I got ya
out of the lvl 30 power-trip. Anyway, we always had fun, and I like
seeing someone with the balls to go one on one.

Curiousity strikes...were you protected and hasted during our fights?

I have a bad habit of forgetting to use all my preps when I have them but since the last time I died to a rager in like four rounds I have been more careful and at least use something. I haven't had haste on me since I lost the bracers weeks and weeks ago.

See, now I'm even more pissed. Grrrr. Well, I had it the other way around actually, thought you got Captain easy and that was because of other matters less visible (not cheating mind you, but other reasons why the Imms might not wanna make me leader, namely complaining, Imms hold a big fat grudge ). You were certainly one hearty character and player, stuck in there through thick and thin and I honestly figured this would be coming, I was hoping you'd get thrown into a leadership position and therefore wind up on top for a tad bit longer, then we'd induct, I'd hero, and we'd turn the tides (hey, I can have my dreams right?). Either way, I've been hovering however, not really by choice, though perhaps it isn't the stupidest things anyway. Don't rely consider myself a one man killing machine so I don't think the odds against me are all that desirable, but I haven't been purposely hanging, more like I can't seem to find any decent means of ranking *grrr*. You'll be missed severely, if not for your character or your reliability or having something to do by aiding you against the hordes with healing and briars...at least as someone who can take some of this gear off my hands . Either way, if ya want drop me a line at gasta@libertymoving.com, I'd like to share some thoughts with you on Sylvans and the whole deal. Good luck with the next! (Roll up a sylvan *grin, cackle*)

Well, since there was simply no way to know, it's kinda hard to know
whether Uller and Sebeok liked what I was doing...didn't like it,
whatever. I don't see why they didn't do *something*, no matter how
small. In fact, Uller all but disappeared after dropping those
humorous hailstones on my head. I would have liked having leader con,
and honestly, I probably would have stuck it out until I age died if
they had let me. Oh well, I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I don't, and
never have seen what people get out of full-sac'ing people's things.
It's a complete dickhead move, and it seems to be the way of people
on this game nowadays. So, just to warn you all, I'm going to be much
more harsh with what I do to people's gear from now on.

This is exactly what people get out of it. it gets done to them. They get pissed. They decide to do it to everyone. It's self propogating. Lately I've been doing it too. After 7 years of trying to give at least something back, I just said screw it, and decided that, for now anyway, I was going to just full loot, and sac what I don't need. I think you get to a breaking point with this, and I always hate to see it when it happens.

You don't know who I'm playing right now, but we interacted a good bit and you were always a lot of fun. I'll miss you.

I truly liked you. I wish I hadn't given out my email so I wouldn't have been grouped with the whole problem. The imms told me I wasn't going to get in trouble. But, anybody who stayed feeling that kind of taint isn't really rping. The one thing I have noticed, is that people who act in a manner that makes you get along with them in game, continously find each other playing another character. There is a comfort zone that players find. If one person that you are in a cabal with seems bright, and you to are bright, those characters are going to get along and spend more time with each other. I would consider you one of the bright ones for sure, and saying what you said makes me feel good, because you obviously felt the same way.

I'm sorry to see you go as the Grove really needs solid people around right now, but I was saddened that all I earned was a "show up." I don't think I should have to explain my life to people because I can't show up right now in the game. Its not like I'm hoarding eq, but here is the reason that I haven't been around. Actually, before I give it, let me say that I play one char at a time, and that I never made a Scion or some crap like that...its Weswin and Weswin only, but for the past month I've been spending a lot of time traveling back and forth between the hospital at home, as my last living grandparent had a double valve replacement, and then suffered a stroke. She died just last Sunday as I returned from a business trip. I'm sorry to all I know for not being able to be around, but not that sorry. Believe me when I say I wish I could have been here and not had to worry about sick family, but such is life sometimes. I don't want sympathy or an apology or any crap like that. I just wanted you to know that your "show up" is what I truly would rather have been doing.

In that case, I take it back. I don't blame anyone for dealing with
things they have no control over. And yes, you did deserve more than
that, but seeing as how you stopped showing right when everyone else
did, it only seemed like you were in on it. But, good luck if you do return to Weswin.

Well, I thought you were a well played character and I didn't expect you to delete I figured you would be the next captain. As far as that divine power I think it was something like an Annihilate and a couple of devastates and the rest demolishes so I'd say it hurt just a little bit. But I look forward to seeing you in the fields
