Fun times, but ultimately tedious and overwhelming times. I've been playing since the start of the second age, plenty o' Shadow, Master, Arbiter, Empire, Scion, bleah bleah bleah look at me I'm so cool..
I like invokers simply because of the ability to defeat most lagging techniques - plus landing ridiculous damage on occasion soothes the soul. This was my second Scion invoker hero - and by far the more challenging, as Scion is pretty much a cobweb filled hallway at this point. Logging on to find the Scepter missing (literally) 95% of the time with 3+ defenders against me alone...well, it tends to wear on you. I regret deleting because I had some areas I wanted to explore, but I was just getting tired...ya know? I'll say a few goodbyes if anyone gives a hoot - I am total horse-poopy with names (can't even remember my last few characters), so sorry in advance if I miss anyone.

Fortress.

Fahnrore - I liked you - you were one of the few that attacked one-on-one, which occasionaly gave me the false hope that I might actually beat you. Caught you with the spirit knight that one time, sacc'ed most of your gear , immediately felt bad about it. Just didn't have much RP or OOC reason to be blowing away people's stuff.

Jhanderin - enjoyed our conversations, especially since I could remember preaching the same things when I play goodies - funny how I can call it all B.S. when I'm on the other side. Died to you a few times, which is embarassing as hell to admit.

Vashka - See Jhanderin's comments above. Felt cheesy for ganking you with Sakard that one time on the Aryth, but oh well.

Most of the other Fortress folk - I will refrain from posting names, but I thought most of you were full of poo both IC and OOC. Maybe I'm just bitter that all hero Paladins are in Maran, ergo can ignore the Code. I've played some succesfull Paladins, and the Code is a big deal to me. Whatever, I'm probably just oogy from so many collosal gang-bangs. Plus the trash talking from "lightwalkers" after I got beat down 4 to 1 made me retch.

Jolaerg- Always held onto gear for you until I read that you deleted. Admired the way you would charge off hell-bent for leather.

Apla - Sorry you got tired of the whole thing.

Jhaelryna - Uber-aloof. Asking you questions was a waste of time. Good luck to you. (honestly)

Warlocks -

Warlock Invokers kicked my ass repeatedly. Nuff said. Wish I had the staff you do when I was a Warlock. Good job.


Battle -

I've had characters in every cabal from Battle. I think the idea behind the cabal is asinine, and I despise the whole cabal. That's what's called an OOC prejudice. Brogg humiliated me repeatedly, and what's-your-face with the axe/mace spec did the same. I thought Wakachacha was an ass, but a deathful ass, so kudos.

Tribs/Nexans - Nameless and faceless people that occassionaly joined in fights.

On the whole, an entertaining but ultimately frustrating experience (sound familiar?). The memory that stands out is raiding the Fortress with a large group of Scion/Pre-Empire, and having the ENTIRE Fortress crew (6+ players) log out simultaneously when it was clear that we were going to take the item. That really, really, really bothered me , and was sort of the beginning of the end.

Ah well, enough negativity. Good luck to everyone, and don't take things too seriously.

As of CODE. The honor is much more then even odds. You never should forget difference between duel Code and War Code. they are quite different. Just think out of the box as it's much more in Honor then old Knights Code.

Hey, Man - I was a Squire Assassin a month or two ago, and logged this fight with you. I thought it was pretty cool because it came right down to the end. I figured the only way I'd kill an invoker (or other resist-heavy classes) was to make him stick around long enough for an owaza/kick, so it meant no tiger claw. I think it was our only fight, but I sure stalked you a hell of alot only to have someone else kill you or scare you off after 5-6 of them.

I ran out onto the ocean and then big patch of lag came in. Got summoned then all my south's went in, I didn't get a chance to get underwater like I wanted to. I managed to get a flee and noticed I was in a trapped room. I was like ah crap. I felt that death. It hurt. That was an awesome kill by you both, but was I pissed because I didn't even get a chance to do anything.

Asin got revenge on me waiting at the pit for him. I still remember you stealing my girdle from me with all my haste potions I had from thar-acacia when I died fighting the dragon.

You stuck in despite the poor odds which seemed stacked agaisnt you. Never heard you complain once either. I think I only got you a few times. Yeh, Scion doesnt have much going for it, and Empire being around just reduced its playerbase from 3 to....whatever.

I enjoyed our talks too but I fear I was never able to put enough attention into them. Every single time we started talking I would start getting tell bombed with requests for bread, water, helping stuck people, curing some random disease etc. So I often felt I shortchanged you when it came to that aspect of our interactions.

I will say this though about your invoker skills. They were quite good and I knew I was always in for a surprise. However, the Wisdomsmith's (aka Nepenthe) advice about invokers, I finally started to understand. I remember reading one of his posts awhile back that said something about lagging spells vs damage spells and how lagging spells were rarely the right way to go, though they do have their time and place. What I am saying here is..had you opted to cone/geyser/iceneedles/nova etc INSTEAD of throwing a rock at me you would have killed me at least four or five times more. So just something to think about if you ever play another invoker.
