I will spank this dead horse a few times yet.
The mechanism of a class being able to have a permanent impact needs to be removed from the game.
Yes yes I know saves.
But lets be honest if you loose 30 strength your going to hit the ground hard no matter how you look at it. That should be enough.
It detracts from the player experience, and from what I saw on Discord people appreciated the gung ho attitude. All wither does in these situations is punish a character permanently who has this attitude, while making the game fun for others and ultimately makes things less fun for everyone as these characters go earlier than they should.
Make the -30 with -300 for all I care no-one is covering 30 strength but get rid of the aging component.

This sucks. You invest a lot of your time/effor/LIFE into your character and then you get spam withered to age death. Which benefits it brings to the game, except for pissing off players who experienced it? Zero. This is a pure negative experience and the more such things CF have, the worse for the game and everyone involved.
PS: I never experienced it myself, so I am quite objective on this matter.
