Chapter 2

Khalandra partook in a deep trial within the very essence of Chaos
Searching and yearning for perfection, she escaped from the boundaries
of the physical plane and transfixed herself into an ethereal being.
However, she soon found out that it was not enough. Thus, she embodied
a mortal baby, stripping it soul from what it should have been, a
good paladin, as was it's fate and decree. Submerging her conscience
with that of the baby, she found a battle of between darkness and
the light tiring. She fell within the battle, escaping deep within
the baby's mind.

The baby, named Lyandra, grew up a voloptuous and mischievious girl.
Unknown to others, even the high priests of Shokai, she hid her
true self, that of the victory Khalandra had over the Light, until
her 15th year of age. There she truly emerged. In one swipe, all
thoughts of goodness and purity were replaced by the yearning of
perfection. The yearning of succeeding where her predecessor failed,
the yearning of beauty. With a slow devious plan, she 'hired' a band
of fell mages and betrayed her home. Her last thought while she left
her home was 'They had no more use to me..'

Chapter 3

In Ancient Times, there were wars of great magnitude, wars that shook
the very foundations of Thera. Even now some semblance of this war takes
place in the battle between the Light and Darkness. However, the portals
to the plane of the Abyss has been closed, and the great beings of the
Abyss are held back by the present Divines of the Light. This does
not curtail that some semblance of the powers of the Abyss exists
still in Thera...

Khalandra was born to a mating between a rape of a Villager and a
powerful human seductress. The female was an apprentice of the Kiar'ah,
an ancient society dedicated on creating the 'perfect' creature. As
an initiation, the females of this society were to consumate to create
a child, possibly one destined for perfection. Unknown to this society,
the human was a descendant of a rape of a paladin by a demoness of lust
within the Ancient Times. Records show that this paladin was found mad
deep within the dungeons of the Underdark, seeking his 'one love' in
despair. The consummation forced by the society re-awoken a dormant
power inherent within the blood of the paladin's lineage.

Khalandra's birth caused great joy and sorrow. She was born with
a strange confidence about her, seducing full grown men with her
unique charms. A gentle smile, a heartfelt eyes, yet a piercing
darkness that was unknown to others. She was raised within the society
by her mother, now a fully recognized priestess. However, Khalandra
always wanted more then simple doctrines. While those doctrines bespoke
of individual glory, she realized that only through assimilating the
perfection of others can one truly because the 'perfect' creature.
She escaped the dull ramblings of her birth society, yet did not
escape the legacy from which they were created. Even now she hungers
for more to understand, for more to find, just for more...

Chapter 1

Pain...pleasures. Physical feelings...mental feelings. They are
all the same. To teach this, to teach that the beauty of a such
Lyandra understands this, and seeks to add others to her
collaboration of treasures. The perfect beauty is one where
these different aspects come together into one essence, one
entity. Mere physical beauty, the inhuman avatar of lust and
desire, is but step to the the base of which everything lies.
She believes that her Mistress, Eshval, also seeks her own
perfection, her own avatar of beauty of awe. Yet, it is not
only within this plane that such perfection can be created.
Through that of the Scions of the Eternal Night, through the
coming of the Ccul'gra, will she be able to find more...candidates.
