Chapter 6

has started to become aware of his own mortality. Sivane turned 50
recently and started to think he is approaching old age fast. While Sivane
can never kill enough or hunt enough to fill the hole within him, he does
enjoy being alive. Sivane is coming face to face with his own part in the
great cycle. The part that scares the Spirit of Ice, his own death.

Sivane has enjoy being a part of the Outlander and his place within the reavers.
Sivane discovered the interesting dynamic that is the Outlanders. The wardens
nurture, protect, and grow Thar-Eris. The reavers cull the weeds and do the things
that must be done to bring back the Ancients and further Thar-Eris. The sentinels
are in the middle to help maintain the balance. Sivane has found this most interesting
as he always wants to corrupt the Wardens with his twisted line of thinking. As such,
Sivane has gotten into several discussions on the need to hunt, the need to destroy
civilization, and the need to end oppression through violence. While the wardens
do not agree always with the reavers methods, they agree that all three branches
Sivane just wishes the wardens would give in to their internal lust and do what needs
to be done. He will continue to tussle verbally with the wardens as in Sivanes mind
peace, protection, and growth have a place but a man should do what needs to be done as well.
It is weakness to him to leave the hard tasks to others.

What does the future hold for Sivane? He hopes it is shedding much blood
against civilization and causing much destruction of the foes of Thar-Eris.
Sivane will not let those that stand in his way be left alone either.
Sivane is not a man to turn the other cheek, so the villagers and the nexus and the
fortress need to be prepared for a fight. But when it is all over, Sivane seeks
be one with Thar-Eris and do say he did what he could to bring about change,
further the return of all the Ancients, and most of all stayed free.

Chapter 5

Soon after Sivane travelled the world to learn all the elements that would
encompass his power in his chosen path in life, he began to do three things.
The first was to continue his training on the elements. The second was to
start the hunt that would consume the rest of his life. The third was find
those that share a common bond with him and aid Thar-Eris and the return
of the Ancients.

Sivane lusts after things in life and his proficiency with the elements is no
different. From age 25 to his current age of 50, he has learned so much
about the elements. He has learned ice to a degree that he can cause iceneedles,
conglaciate the area, and cause iceslicks. He was learned water in ways that he can
cause geysers. He has even learned what he calls the lesser elements of fire, lightning,
ooze, air, and earth. Sivane believes that to hunt you must have as many tools in
as possible, so he tolerates and uses these lesser elements. Furthermore
Sivanes training has lead to lesser and greater shields that aid him in the hunt. Training
in the ways of the elements will always be a part of Sivanes life but finally he
is to where the elements are at the power that Sivane feels they should be.

One thing that has remaining with Sivane since before his days with the Spirit of Ice
is the lust for the hunt. Sivane has a carnal desire to hunt all things, but tries to
focus his energy on hunts against those that are enemies of his or of Thar-Eris. Sivane has
hunted between 30 and 40 of what he calls greater foes and thousands of
lesser foes. The greater foes always bring him the most pleasure. Lately, he has tried
to channel the hunts to those that either seek to further civilization such as
the tribunal or the empire or those that seek to destroy Thar-Eris like the scions, dwarves,
and other defilers. No what the hunt or what the foe, victory is always the goal. Sivane
lust for victory and does not ever want to lose.

The third thing that has happened in the Spirit of Ice Sivanes life is the Outlander. Sivane
discovered the tree after reading about a band of men and women that sought to bring
back the Ancients and bring back the beauty of Thar-Eris. He sought these men and women
out and found them in a large tree north of Arkham. There he first met a strange thief
that was the harbinger of the Outlanders. After a long talk with him, Sivane pledged his
life to the tree and began to hunt. A year or two later, Sivane had a long talk with the Toad
Lord. One day during a greater hunt, the Spirit of Ice ended the life of an anti-paladin
from the empire. He destroyed the mans coins and told to him end being a slave.
While the anti-paladin continued with his ways, Sivane instantly felt closer to Thar-Eris.
He soon discovered that he had been accepted as an Outlander.

Chapter 4

Sivanes travels have taken him all over the world. He
currently resides near Arkham and still visits Morrle on
occasion, but prefers Thar-Eris to cities and civilization.
Sivane has found that civilization is weak. He has
discovered that civilization relies on order and that few
in cities can think for themselves. Furthermore, they
rely on coins instead of doing things for themselves.
Sivane has started to learn of Thar-Eris and the Ancients.
He has learned of the reavers of Thar-Eris. Soon he will
seek them out and take a branch on the tree. One day
everyone else, especially civilization, will pay the price
for shunning Sivane. Sivane can never kill enough, hunt
enough, or cause enough destruction to fill the whole
that was left that day in the ritual after the hunt.

Chapter 3

Sivane left the village at age 16 and soon found his way
to Hamsah. After spending a couple months there he
located a guild called the invokers guild. The member of
the local guild taught him some basics but the
guildmaster was not impressed with Sivane because he
did not look civilized and was very primitive. Sivane had
arrived in the early fall when activity was busy and
commerce was high. By the time winter rolled around,
Sivane noticed a change in the people and the city. The
winter crippled them. Sivane found he loved the winter
and why not since the spirit of ice was within him.
Everyone else in Hamsah however hated the cold.
Sivane was starting to learn that nature could cripple
civilization as civilization was weak. In particular, ice
and the cold brought civilization to its knees. Sivane
soon lusts for the destruction of civilization to teach
them to not be weak.Sivane left Hamsah at the end of
the winter and went down a long road until he arrived
at a place called Galadon. Galadon proved to be the
same as Hamsah. After spending one year in Galadon
he left again, still not finding those to aid him in his
craft. He traveled north this time and discovered no
better luck in Vorilian and Tir-Talith. Things start to pick
up in the arial city of AyrTrinil and Cragstone. Both
Abiqa and Zakinn could sense something about him and
said he had a slight affinity for air magic and earth magic
respectively. Abiqa and Zakinn said Sivane was
certainly not all powerful in air and earth magic, but
they did train Sivane in each of their specialties to an
average affinity. They also informed Sivane that he
needed to visit the northern mountains, west and north
of Udgaard. The guildmaster told Sivane of an invoker
that could further train him. This invoker of the north
was very proficient in ice and water. The guildmaster
felt Sivane and the Spirit of Ice would do well there.
Sivane ventured north and after searching for a long
while, finally found Juritala in the northern
mountains. Juritala could sense
something different about Sivane the moment she met
him. Sivane trained with the Juritala
for 2 years. Sivane proved to have a very
high affinity for ice and water given the spirit. After 2
years, Sivane left again to learn more of this lands.
Sivane never did find anyone to train him properly in
fire, ooze, or lightning magics. Sivane did not however
want to abandon those types of magic, so he taught
himself these three magics and developed a very basic
affinity for them. The learning goes slow in these three
magics, but Sivane is very smart and will master these
magics as well. Sivane is no quitter and lusts after
learning like he does most things in life, so doing
without was never an option. Sivane is very ambitious
and gets what he wants, one way or the other never
conforming to society or pressure from outside influences.

Chapter 2

Sivanes life immediately changed as no one in the
village believed a spirit had taken Sivane. He was cast as
an outcast within the village and soon turned bitter.
Why did they not understand that he would one day be
powerful. He might not be a warrior, but he was
ambitious and would be a great magi within an affinity
for ice. Sivane lusted to be treated like the others.
After one year of being mistreated within his village,
he was resentful and changed forever. Sivane no longer
cared about others. The spirit of ice had turned him
cold. He now had no morality and cared only about
himself, the hunt, and his magic. He would seek the
world out and refine his craft.

Chapter 1

Sivane was raised within a tribe of primitive humans in
Verun. The tribe lived off the earth, shunning most
things of civilization. His early days were normal, but all
events previously lead up to the great hunt. Sivane
always had a lust to be great and was always very
ambitious. So Sivane finally comes of age and the
day of the great hunt arrives. Sivane participates in the
hunt as the boys of his tribe seek to become men. The
hunt is a rite of passage among the tribe and Sivane
participates along with 4 other males around his age.
The hunt last 2 days and the 5 boys each get there kills.
All of them are filled with pride and excited for the
feast and pleasures that will come next.

The boys return and show there kills to the local elder
shaman. The shaman orders the boys locked in a small
cage and they are made to wait. They wait nearly 40
hours in the hot humid air in their village in Verun.
Finally at midnight, when the moon was full the elder
summoned them to the after hunt ritual. A great fire
was set up along with a circle of spirit totems. Ladies of
the tribe lined the outside of the circle, ready to pick
their mate and consume a night of great pleasure. The
elders took turns dancing to music. Soon one of the
boys in the hunt was overtaken and starting dancing in
the circle and was overtaken with the spirit of the
boar. A woman of the tribe grab him and claim him for
her own. A second boy was soon compelled to the
circle and taken with the spirit of the jaguar. Another
woman came and claimed this second boy that was
soon to be a man. The third boy then started dancing
and was taken with the spirit of the tiger and another
woman claimed him. The fourth was taken with the
spirit of the bear and yet another woman claimed him.
Several hours passed and Sivanes lust soon turn
to disappointment when no spirits came to him. The
elders and other members of the tribe soon turned their
joy to disappointment as well for if the spirits shun
Sivane then all of the village must shun Sivane. After
two more hours and still no spirit for Sivane, the fire was
put out and everyone went to bed. Sivane was so
heartbroken that he could not sleep. He stayed up
wondering why me. It was at the coolest point in the
wee hours of the early morning, when Sivane felt a
damp chill enter him. For a spirit had finally come, but it
was unlike the others. The spirit was not a spirit of a
warrior, like a tiger, bear, boar, or jaguar. The spirit was
a spirit of ice. The spirit was not able to enter Sivane
until the coolest point of the night, long after the fire
had died and everyone left. Sivane had his spirit but did
not have any respect among the tribe and did not get a
woman like the rest.
