Corlx Splix the World's Strongest Rodentmancer, Knee-High Herald of the Eternal Star, Kingpin of Galadon

Short and squat, Corlx is here doused in the sweet smell of whiskey.

Description

You see an aging Svirfnebli before you.
Resembling a moving rock, he seems surprisingly light on his feet.
His skin is a mottled gray, covered with small bumps
and growths resembling lichen on rocks. His gray eyes are flecked
with gold, and constantly dart around the room. He is mostly hairless
except for his big bushy eyebrows and big tufts of gray hair sticking out
of his ears. Not as agile as he was in his younger days, he moves
rather slowly and with a slight hobble. Dressed in light armors,
he carries a huge bag, bulging with unseen contents. He carries several
daggers concealed around his person, and two large swords hang in
scabards attached to his belt. As you look closely, you see what appears
to be a rat peeking out from under his cloak. The strong, unmistakable
odor of whiskey seems to fill the room, emanating from this old Svirf.
A large '13' is tattooed on his neck, seeming to glow
and pulse slightly. He winks at you, smiles, and turns back to
his drink.

Chapter 2


The path to the future

Never caring for politics, Corlx kept out of the major wars,
preferring to profit off the aftermath. He explored freely, keeping out of
sight as much as possible. In his travels he met an Imperial who tried to force
to take the bloodoath. Corlx is passionate about embracing life
to the fullest, and the attempt to take his freedom once again has led him
to care little for Imperials, finding the pickings to be rich emptying their
pockets and coffers.



He has heard many tales of the Heralds of the Eternal Star,
and seeks to join them as they seem to share his passion for life,
and disdain for combat. He also seeks the Lord Whiysdan, as he is
the Lord of Luck, and Corlx has always trusted to luck to be his guide. He hopes
his luck will hold, and he will find a way to more deeply embrace
his passion for life.

Chapter 1


A thief

Corlx never coul keep his hands to himself. His idea of ownership is simple:
if it catches his eye, its his, whoever holds it. Exiled from Cragstone
for attempting to steal the King's Crown, he wandered above ground, stumbling
into Galadon, and allowing himself to be woo'd by the Pickpocket thieves guild.
Honing his already considerable skills, he decided to see the world. Always a fan
of dicing, he trusted to luck to lead his steps, rolling his lucky
dice to make decisions.
In an unfortunate turn(Not all luck is good luck, afterall), he lost a bet in
Hamsah that led to him being an indentured mate on a Seantryn pirate ship,
where he served as lookout, and as a fence for their ill gotten booty. Though
rankled by being forced into service, he enjoyed seeing the world.
Finally, he trusted to luck once more, winning his freedom with a roll of the dice.
