Ruknubuk the Strongest, Hunted by Battle, Hated by Heralds, Chieftain of the Grinning Skulls

Flies envelop the brume of bloody ash that clouds the hulking orc Ruknubuk.

Description

The buzz of flies fill your ears and the scent of rotting flesh and excrement
assail your nostrils as your gaze comes to rest on this putrid behemoth. His
arms and armor appear scavenged from many places as none of it matches and
seems ill fitted to his massive frame. His head is nearly bald with just a
few wisps of long black hair sticking out here and there. Two yellow tusks
protude upward from his lower lip, the tip of one is chipped. His skin is a
molted orange and brown, though on closer inspection you realize his skin is
not brown but covered in dried blood, given the relative lack of wounds in
the proximity it appears the blood was intentionally applied.

Character Flaws

*Very short sighted, doesn't often take into consideration the long term
affects of his decisions, such as turning away potential valuable allies that
don't fully acquiesce to his ego.

*Ego, he thinks he is the greatest orc that ever orced in all of orcdom and
he is very vocal about it, even in front of the chief.

*The only type of strength he respects is the ability to do violence. Does
not fully grasp the importance of politics or other kinds of strength.

*Any challenge to or belittlement of his strength will be met with extreme
hostility

*He is totally reckless when it comes to charging people he really shouldnt

Beliefs

*Eating the flesh of an opponent gives you a piece of their strength

*Clan shaman is the pinnacle of power as even chiefs kneel to tremblefist

*There is magic in blood

*The weak should pay tribute to and be slaves of the strong (and Ruk is the;role + strongest)

Character Evolution from birth to present

Ruk is driven by the urge to dominate. He takes the orcish concept of weak
capitulating to the strong to an extreme and expects all other races to think
and act in the same way. In his most nave years he thought the way of the
fist was the only way and anyone who would not become his slave was meat to
be eaten. As he grew older and his reputation spread he gradually needed
less and less overt acts of submission to be performed in order for him to
feel properly acknowledged. This evolved from everyone but slaves is meat,
to only group with slaves but will leave those who pay tribute alone, to
those who pay tribute can possible group with him, to the current point where
occasionally he won't explicitly demand tribute if the individual is working
toward a goal Ruk is working on anyway.

This path of transformation went even faster when concerning other orcs and
around level 33 he no longer demanded any over demonstration of submission to
work with other orcs.

As his long term goal is total domination he has looked to the orc village
and observed that all chiefs must go through the clan shaman to gain power.
As chiefs come and go the Shaman reigns supreme. To this effort he sought
the goal of becoming a clan shaman, first by learning the blood magics of the
mundunugu and also by seeking the mark of a god to show the rest of the clan
he is backed by the gods. As his goal is absolute Tyranny it was a natural
fit for him to discover and fall into the religion of Enlilth, even though he
doesn't have much political acumen and does everything in an orcish way.
