Chapter 8

My name was put on the black list of the Inn of Eternal Stars, and now
i miss the gambling and drinking there much. I have spoken with short lucky Lord Whiysdan,
and we played in dices. It was mine 26 gold coins against him removing my name
from the list. I failed miserably, i guess, Mergulla attention had all my luck drained.
And now i have to find something interesting to entertain the lucky Lord.
I'm actually planing to open service, probably somewhat prepaid, for anyone interested
to know more about Empire. I will be showing them palace, and for shamans and healer, even
Divine sect hall. Probably, if innkeepers are interested, i might require them to remove my name
from the black list for the excursion in Palace.
Although, there is always another way. I'm actually considering hiring
a bunch of centurions to guard the Inn entrance. Innkeepers will certainly suffer,
and as i'm willing to promise that i will not bring any harm in the Inn in the future, may probably
remove my name from their black list too.
I will try excursion route first anyway, and only then, the route of blocking them.
And, there is always a chance, i will find some other way to deal with the black list.

Chapter 7

At first, dark queen Mergulla has heard my words about her.
Something along the like of she is damned, and also that my lord Enlilth
is ten time stronger than her. These words have brought her attention, though,
i would ask in first place, why does she care of my words?! Nevermind.
Since then, she treated me as her favorite toy, branding with sigil of pain,
putting me on fire and once, turned me to a toad. I bealive, my skin since then,
has turned a little bit green. And sure, ugly burnt scars on my body are never
to go away. I have spoken with her, and found out that she is directly connected
to Scions, and Eternal night, that makes it not possible to have any deals with her.
so be it, i will have to stick the pain out.

My lord mentioned, that if i probably seduce her, that would prove that he is stronger.
Though, i bealive that was all a joke. I think, the only way to really deal with her, is
to slay most of her follows, and break her pact with Scions. That will sure if not kill her, but weaken a lot.

Chapter 6

Finally, as i promised to my Lord, the position of the High Priest is mine.
It took me some time, but it wasnt too hard to get it. Some kills,
even more gold, and i finally got the leadership!
I'm yet to discuss my further advance, but its obvious, the higher
position, is only the Emperor's throne. Though, i will not
betray Emperor Otuerghad. Things should go naturally, when he will retire,
i will claim the throne for myself.
Until then, i should see to getting loyality of the Council,
growing of my sect, and praising lord Enlilth name!

Chapter 5

All went perfect. I've joined the Empire, and was already
promoted once by the Imperial Inquisitor. Also, i finallty
got the meeting with lord Enlilth, and he have granted me
a little bit of his own strength.
Lord Enlilth, have set me to another task. I should claim the
position of my sect leader. It seems, the only Blandevur can be
my opponent, so i should carefull watch after him. My donations
should be higher, as should be my rank. If he will slay foe, i
will slay two. I will praise lord Enlilth name more often,
and will teach our foes in his name.
That will take some time. Anyway, i was going to do that all by myself.

While i wasnt able to discuss on that matter with lord Enlilth,
i have spoken with some other people, including the paladin
i have slain before. It is said, the Enlilth's followers
are to obey the laws, and work for the system. While nowhere said, it is
all about Empire, i cant see anything, that would fit the description
better. I will start gathering coins, to provide me the faster
advancing in the ranks after taking the bloodoath.

This fellow, was born and growed in a far away village.
So, he his language and speech, can be somewhat unusual,
and some words and phraes can sound strange. Also, he might not
understand some rare words, and perhaps metaphors.
Its better to speak simple and short with him...

Chapter 2

One task is done, i have found the shrine. It is exactly
as i imagined. There is the altar of Envy, empty.
And there is the throne room, with pit full of blood, treasures
and rare artifacts. Also, there is the scepter of ultimate
power. These all once again proved that i have chosen
wisely.

It is obvious, those that follow Lord Enlilth, blessed by
him, will always bring a huge affect to this world. Emperors,
kings, dicators, the true rulers of the world.
I start considering making my way to Empire. The position of
the Emperor, looks the highest and most appropriate.

So the next task will be to seek the audience with Lord Enlilth,
discussing with him what i can do to get his blessing,
and the worth of joining Empire.

Why he is more talented than me?

Envy, one of the best things to push someone
forward. The best reason to achieve something.
Why it is called evil? To me, that is the most
virtous thing.

But unlike the most, i dont thing there are many
things to envy for. I bealive, that only unique
things, or social positions, or unique abilities
are worth to envy, and acquire. I dont want coins,
no matter how much there are, but a unique piece of
art? Yes, i cant pass it. Who cares for the soldiers,
but the position of the Marshall? Yes, i want one too.
I'm wise, but thats nothing compared to knowledge of the
divine, well, thats something i will envy till death.

Where is that place, one can praise Envy?
Where is that deity, that will grant more
power for being envy? The god, i will envy
too. For his or her unmatched strength.

Is there actually such a god? If so, i will find
his shrine, and beg to grant me his blessing.
For now, i only heard the name, Enlilth.
