Thanks for the reply. It is rather idealistic of me to think people should "want" to figure out things rather than be spoonfed, but it is blaringly obviously this will not occur. Afterall, it IS a game and if people would rather not focus on certain aspects, or have no fun figuring out certain things, then I suppose it's okay if they find out other ways... as long as they roleplay!!!

Very good analogy with the whole hint book thing. As you pointed out, these forums aren't meant to be a walkthrough, just a bare-bones strategy guide to help people along. You're right... the best way to contribute is to become an Immortal and dig in.
