insidious finger of the swamp has touched this once-grand hall, leaving a trail 
of decay and ruin.  Silvered heels once clicked against the grey stone floor, 
that now lies uneven and slick with mold beneath your feet.  The shrill pierce 
of mock feminine terror once echoed through the hall and cells.  Ladies and 
gentlemen of wealth and decadence gathered here in scandalized fascination to 
observe the proof of the Lord's conquest.  The stuffed heads of exotic animals 
still adorn the walls, though now a thriving home to maggots and parasitic 
growth.  Faintly, flaking gilt can be seen on the arched doorways leading to
