I really don't think 1/8 or 1/16 is going to make that much of a difference to your reaction time.

And that's why I highlight specific things so I can focus on the few interesting pieces to me.

No, you're basically asking to change the pulse size of the game (which in turn affects how long combat takes, which in turn affects how long a tick is, which means you're slowing the ENTIRE game down).

Personally, I think so, but more because of the overall implications of the change.
