- As an experiment in encouraging character longevity, characters who reach the old age category with either a significant number of PKs or a significant amount of imm XP will lose a reduced amount of STR/DEX/CON. Characters who were already old prior to this change going live are unaffected.
- Conjurer devils more reliably react negatively to the conjurer using magical transportation to escape combat in the same way as they react to the conjurer fleeing combat. To put it another way, devils interpret fleeing as a sign of weakness and their morale is negatively impacted, and this is true whether you use your feet or magic to flee.
- Fixed three different subtle but very broken things with anticipate. It should be moderately more powerful now.
- To make a long story short: some aspects of conjurer devil and demon morale reworked.
- Shapeshifters in form use a hybrid of their shifted and unshifted strength scores to determine whether or not they suffer penalties for being overburdened. This may be further tweaked depending on how it works in play.
- Discovered while working on the previous item: a few years ago there was a Santa Zulg request to reduce the impact of CON loss on HP gains at level-up. (In other words, you still want your CON to be as high as possible, but the pain of a low CON was reduced a bit.) Due to the way this was coded, it only helped shifted shifters. All characters will now benefit from similar logic.
- Elven monks can now Swiftstrike off of a successful Avoid of a normal combat blow, if the Avoid skill is in its active state. Like most monk abilities, this is heightened by the presence of the Intensify skill, if it is active.
