Searching the inter-web (so high tech!), I found an article on how Freespace 2 has been under development from different groups since it went open source 2 goddamn years ago

How could I have missed the BEST space combat sim of all time going open source?! I'm rectifying the situation immediately. My bittorrent is open, bandwidth is being hogged and I have a dvd ready with FrEesPaCe written in dyslexic handwriting. I even did a doodle of something that looks like a tie fighter.

Woo hoo! I heart you, Open Source initiative! Best idea eva!

Edit - I thought it worth mention, thepiratebay.org has an amusing google-style cover on it. I guess they know what every will be ripping off this week...
