I'm surprised you thought that Yror was an improvement rp-wise. Yror was a little more unusual, and a lot more 'in your face' RP, but I honestly considered the RP shallow compared to Lannie. I tried to play Lannie more like a 'real' person, with sighing hopes and dreams, sometimes suffering from lack of confidence and emotional vulnerabilities. Yror seemed less dynamic than Lannie. Yror had his set way he would act, whereas Lannie could have very possibly been lured to become evil had anyone bothered to fuel his anger toward elves. I guess Yror's RP was more open and easily communicated, and Lannie was too subtle. Oh well. Thanks for the input.
