I don't know what differences you have with the staff, so it's hard to presume what fanfare could ever be spoken that might entice you to remain. Suffice to say that your contributions have long kept things on a keel that keep this gaming running. Please do not leave. Take a vacation. Go visit Nep and Valg and punch them in their noses. Seriously though, your contributions shaped this game into something amazing, and the implementation of your ideas has been nearly unparalleled.

I'm stroking your ego, but deservedly so. Please do not leave us, man. We need you here. Desperately. Carrionfields has arguably entered its twilight hours. Remain strong through them, and take leave when all is said and done. Your contributions will leave an indelible mark upon everyone and anyone who has grown within the mud, or played it over any meaningful duration.

Less time? Fine, step back from your role as the obligatory coder of all things "mortal want." Take a huge ####ing break and play chars that PK the hell out of the arrogant douchebags that pervade the ranges now. YOU, of all people, have the skill to make them kneel down and start suckling like yearlings in a drought.

We do not want you to go. None of us care how long a break you might wish to take. Those who play would suffer (unfortunately, not very silently, in most cases) in your absence. But I think I speak for everyone who has played this game for any substantial amount of time when I say that your leaving will be detrimental on a scale unheard of on this mud. Further, I also suspect almost every player that's been here for any relevant duration would agree that we'd prefer to see you hash things out and remain if even only in an advisory capacity.

Your input is too ####ing valuable to disappear on that level. The idea that you'll continue to play mortals is awesome. But the loss of your role as an immortal is devastating.

If you've lost so much control that your ideas no longer influence this game, what hope do the rest of us have (who have been here through the years) that anything or any changes will ever reflect game necessity again?
