screwing people over within the bounds of
the 'rules' not the spirit of anything mind
you, just the letter.

I'd have to agree with the others about the
immortal bit, but you seemed to want him to
back down to YOU instead of backing down to
the will of an immortal. That, of course, was
your choice.

Other than that I'm all for your side of it.
from what I see here. (perhaps that isn't all
of it?) It seems like he took things out on
you from a player perspective instead of a
character perspective. (I could be wrong though)

From a just plain 'dealing with people' angle
I'd advise if you ever play an imperial again
to follow these simple things.

Never use direct confrontation unless you are
the superior. (it forces the issue where action
HAS to be taken to avoid appearing weak, and
if they are above you guess what happens...)

Use every bit of 'passive-agressive' garbage
you can pull forth from the twisted soul of
an imperial. undermine faith in your opposition
within your own sect without thier knowledge
and other sects as well. If the people hear
bad things about a person from 20 different people
it no longer matters if it is true.

or hell some of the forums here and at dioxide's

If neither direct confrontation or turning the
empire against them is viable, hire folk outside
the cabal to mess with them in any way you can.

On the other hand:
You didn't have to kill the oath. you could have made him
pay in many other ways for the 'insult'. perhaps while
talking to your superior seen about working to have him
anath'd then kill him all you want.
After getting bumped back up by an imm, you didn't have
to be all 'I'm da man!' If say I was mid management
and the mail room guy talked ot me like you did
I'd have him fired too.

But hey, what happened happened.
Roll up something else and have at it gain.

p.s. I'm not sure of the emotional state you'll be in when
you read this but I really don't mean anything insulting/mean
etc...but if you feel like telling me I'm a dolt
anyway and I don't know what I am talking about
that's okay too.
