build is exceedingly thin, looking as though he might have suffered of
starvation at some point in his life, as his clothes hang loosely off him.
A long, sharply curved beak protrudes from his face, but oddly, it is not his
most prominent feature. Sitting above his gaunt cheeks, his eyes stare at
the world with a piercing clarity, though you can almost see some ancient
grief within his eyes. From his expression, the world he sees is a cold,
harsh reality. A number of weapons are obvious upon his person, and he
carries them with the ease of someone long accustomed to them, but the
clawed hands that rest upon his staff a moment as he rests briefly, do so
with the familiarity of long use.

the horizon to the west. Sunlight glinting off of water catches your eye to

wrinkles and folds to the northwest, forming a small, wooded valley that ends
