This post surprised me when I first read it. At first I'd figured you were scion, add to that that you're half-drow and I was all about trying to kill you. Then found out you weren't scion, which meant you were still on the kill-list just not as high-priority. (I have more than a little compassion for uncaballed/hunted players. Unless they've earned the unwanted attention.)

But after our first tussel and my soon thereafter fall to the only fiend that ever got me, (I resisted mental far too late) and our paths momentarily crossed you came at me with a bloodthirsty killing retort when I tried to strike up conversation, so I told you I wasn't interested in continuing with any kind of discussion. The turnabout in attitude surprised me as much as your nice words here, (bi-polar? jk) G'luck with your bard and have fun.

I wouldn't try to hit the nightwalker with tons of opposition unless I thought I could finish it cause otherwise the'd usually just heal it back up, but true I generally wouldn't leave if I could stay, until we'd regained the sapling. Usually that meant several hours with six+ scions on in range. But that's no biggy as a ranger in the wilds...
