Mine did too to be honest. Maybe they just wanted to be the one that got me? I don't know, so many fights were so one sided. Pure damage was not a great way to go after a fully prepped bard and I was always amazed people went that route. Then again hit and run does not work, since I have healing and decent dam redux without preps through anthem and vanguard. But add in haste, aura, stoneskin, shield and even being permalagged I could pretty much outtank a thirsting berserker. And that's just wrong.

Ganicus was smarter, so I usually would have to run you around a bit, and maybe go for the sleep. It did work on the sea that time. But yeah, only got you twice, unless maybe in a raid or something.

And I was apocalyptic spam usually, except against svirfs. I like to get that nice eradicate every once and a while.

Should be glad a bard can't sing fantasia in combat, cause that would make the song truly OP against villagers. Given how rarely I bothered to sleep villagers though (It was just a guaranteed way to make them run- so the fiend would have to be a kill sealer) most never got hit with fantasia.

I have played lots of warriors, but I prefer bards because they are great for doing things solo. So I never have downtime cause I can go almost anywhere alone and gather any item and such. That's a major plus in my book, and really not many classes can do that so easily as a bard can.

Really just working through the cabals with my bards. Herald, Battle, Scion and Nexus are done.
