Chapter 1

The sun rises over the lush, green forests of the elven kingdom, casting a
warm glow on the treetops. As the kingdom awakens, Xaevyir begins his daily
routine. He starts by visiting the temple of Baerinika, where he kneels before
the altar and offers his daily prayer, just as he and his forefathers have
done for many generations. As he prays, he meditates on the teachings of his
goddess and the virtues of righteousness, honor, and selflessness that his
family has instilled in him. After leaving the temple, Xaevyir heads to the
training grounds. As a squire, he is constantly honing his combat skills,
practicing with a variety of weapons and sparring with other young warriors.
His dedication to his craft and his determination to one day become a
blademaster are evident in the way he moves, with a graceful yet powerful
fluidity that catches the eye of his fellow trainees.

Once his training is complete, Xaevyir attends to his duties as a squire,
assisting the knights of his order with whatever tasks they require. Whether
it is helping to care for the horses, polishing armor, or running errands, he
approaches each task with the same level of diligence and attention to detail.

Throughout the day, Xaevyir remains mindful of his actions and their impact
on those around him. He is kind and respectful to all he encounters, from the
lowliest stablehand to the highest-ranking noble. He always seeks to do what
is right, even when it is difficult or unpopular, and never loses sight of his
duty to protect and serve his people. As the sun sets and Xaevyir retires to
his quarters, he reflects on the events of the day and the challenges he
faced. He is proud of the progress he has made in his training and his service
to his order, but he also knows that there is always room for improvement.
