Role

Chapter 3

Blinding light of the rising sun covers the skin of a
young storm giant with a golden yellow. He rises his arm
to the forehead and tries to discern what is this dark
thread moving along the eastern peaks of Kiadana mountains
towards him, but the sun is too bright and all he see is
bright spot ahead of him. He turns back to the cliff he
stands at and looks down. Cloudy mists are concealing
the rocks down the rocky cliff. Always the mists, he
doesnt know what is there and too scared to check it.
He looks back to the east and see that dark tiny thread
approached and now discernable as the queue of a creatures
wandering forward slowly but unevitable. Step by step,
they close to him and the end of the queue is still behind
the horison, hidden by the rising sun.
First of the figures makes the next step and covers the
sun with it's back. Scream of anger and fear bursts from
the lips of a giant. Burned skeleton of a storm giant, worn
in remains of battle armor was walking to him, with it's
head risen proudly, his empty eyesockets looking in front
of him and remains of his hair waving on the wind. Giants
rush to move aside, but notice that queue is moving beside
him, just the step away and goes down the cliff to the
mist below. He watches the dead giants moving beside him,
burned, covered with a ice, with broken bones, but all
proud and magnificant in their march. Young giant runs
along the queue looking for something... Something he await
to find.. but never do. He understand that is the dream,
he sees it again and again, but never find something he
seeks.
