Chapter 1

The greatest undersea storm in an age raged amidst the Storm giant
city, and from within a central whirlpool a brilliant flash strobed out.
When the waters finally stilled and the murk settled after 3 days, there lying
upon the sands in a glassed depression was a baby storm giant.
The populace revered the child as blessing of the ancient Titans of the deep.
They raised him amongst the clerics of the deep, instilling in him all the
goodness and love for family and order they could. Selionar they called him.
As he grew he was wild at heart a force of the waters and storms, yet his
ties to society taught him also gave him a love for civilization and a strong
need to protect those he called family. Always the strange stone set in his forehead
would pulse and beat to his own heart and fill him with strength.
As he grew he grew immense, outgrowing all the storm kin about him
in size and strength appearing, further seeming proof of his Titanic blessing.
He lived as a protector using his size and strength to stand guardian over
his people fending off Shaughin and the great beasts of the deep. It was not
until one night when while sleeping his blue gem blazed with light and he dreamed.
.....he saw in a city guards milling about a darkness bloom. A wight was born.
Its darkness palpable it poured misery around it into the city and people wept.
Its eyes seemed to fix upon him and its burning eyes gleamed...
He woke and knew he was called, his true father calling to him to go forth.
To protect another city as his was strengthened already, a test beyond the waves.
To take up and make safe the city of his dream.
He strikes forth from the waves power roiling within to stand for Order against
a darkness that threatens innocent souls that sweeps across the solid lands.
