Chapter 5

The corpse of Glandiun Moonhaven, the Drunken Bear Rider is
crumpled over a small dagger held in its hand. His blood is
still soaking into the ground of the earthen ground of the
druids guild.

His life taken, not in agony, not in pain, not beset by plagues
and diseases. His life taken to serve a warrant of the law against
his name.

How can it be, that even within the heart of the wilderness, within
the sanctity of his very own guild, a druid, one whom finds strength
in the earth, could fear the laws of men in such a place. How could such
rule be enforced not by the solders of that order, but by the very
wilds that should rise up against this iron grip of order.

No, this is not to be solved by simple torching of the cities, this
cannot be resolved by merely sowing the seeds of change, and aiding
the wilds to cover over the remnants of civilization. This requires
one to truly embrace life, to embrace chaos.

To understand, and know, within your heart - Nothing can be controlled.

Yes, you can be taught to live upon the lands, to be free of oppression,
and even to finally see the invisible chains upon your spirit. But to see
that you are truly free, to see that order holds no sway over your life.
To see that you can cast away these chains by simply declaring your
disobedience. You cannot be taught chaos, you must experience it,
you must live it.

Perhaps if Glandiun had known this, in his heart, he would not have
drove a dagger through it. He would not have been moved by an invisible
hand, moved by compulsion to obey, even when none are present to order.
