Chapter 5

As time has passed Turmi has seen many adversaries and allies come and
go in his life. He has come to understand that with love at times can come a
pain much different than the one Mirozah had caused. A good pain, one that
lets you know you have lived your life right, that others would return the
love you show them. Many of his friends from his youth are gone, Hothgar,
Twizoua, and Azzul have all left him to name a few. He had loved them all like
family. The pain of their loss though is not a bad thing, it is a constant
reminder to him that he had the privilege of having them at his side. He also
sees the loss of ones like Gilut, Klibendon and Ogun, though they never saw
eye to eye, Turmi always saw them as part of his flock, and he never wished
to see them hurt, though duty forced it from time to time. They were all good
men, who were just overzealous in their beliefs, he had tried to help
them see error of their ways by showing them respect and love. As he moves
forward he is constandly driven forward by the love and beauty of his Lady
Rayihn to overcome anything that might hinder him. He moves forward
pouring his love into the Island that has become the home to him and his
family, trying to ensure it will thive well after he is gone.
