Chapter 1

Olice was born a simple elf. He was the strongest of all his brothers and
sisters. So he decided to attend the Thera academy and become a warrior
to fight for the Light. However, once in the academy, he quickly saw that
being the strongest in your family does not mean that you are the
strongest in Thera. Other more noble elfs had training and muscles far
superior to his. However, he was prideful and claimed to be the best.
This led to his downfall, as the other elf quite handily beat him time
and time again in the warrior sparring during the academy.

He grew quite upset at this, and started to do what his mother told him
and prayed to the gods of the light about it. So for two weeks
straight every night before he went to bed, he prayed Gods of the Light,
please grant me the strength of ten warriors and the power unseen by an
elf. However, his prayer was never answered, and he was now being made
fun and picked on by the other elf warriors constantly at the Academy.
Oloice's anger was now quite built up and was beginnign to detest the
other elfs. After two weeks of no answer, Oloice became quite frustrated
and with his next prayer, prayed Gods of Strength and Power, please
grant me the strength of ten warrior and the power unseen by an elf. He
then went to sleep as normal hoping to gain the power and strength he
desired.

The next morning, Oloice woke up and noticed that he bed was oddly
shattered beneath him. He then noticed that he was late and quickly ran
to the Academy. However, as he arrived, he heard shrieks of ORC, run for
your lives!! So he ran, but it seemed the others were running faster
away than he was. He finally ran out of breath. stopped to rest briefly,
and looked back and there was no orc. Confused and enraged that the other
elfs had tried to trick him, he began to rage. However, his rage this
time was much stronger than usual, and almost un elflike. So as he
started to walk back to his bed, he stopped by the local watering hole,
and noticed his reflection in the water. What is this beast?. He was
shocked at the reflection and noticed that it was indeed himself. His
muscles had popped out of his shirt (now four times their original size),
he teeth once straight and perfect, now snaggled and long. He was now a
couple feet bigger than he once was. However, much of the same mentaility
that he had as an elf was still there. Except that his hatred he had
developed for the elfs seem more pronounced and presence in his body.

What have I done, he thought to myself? What God granted me such power?
Is this something I can embrace?
