RoleChapter 3 The King's Reign Added Mon Dec 9 08:50:27 2013 at level 40:To the casual observer, the Silverwood remained much the same as it ever had, in large part because it truly had not changed. However, in the nearby caves of the goblin village, sat a rather moronic goblin who would endlessly argue to the contrary. Dwunot, the greedy copper hunting goblin that thought himself king, would argue everything had changed, that he sat atop an empire unrivaled by any of Thera. He would of course be wrong, but Dwunot would not be one to let things like facts dissuade him from his view of the truth.
Dwunot, the magamacius ruler of Silvrwod (as he signed all his royal decrees for he was unable to say or spell magnanimous and often pronounced it in terrible fashion) viewed his empire as the strongest in Thera. As he sat in his cave, atop the corpses of the troll and orcs he was constantly eradicating from his village because they did not show him proper tribute, the goblin king wrote his list of those who served the kingdom, all who had been given official kingly decrees.
First among them was the Queen, Mirozah. Prettiest and bestest so it was said. Then there was Princess Gteg, who watched the village while he was away, and also served as the premier chef. Haustr was named High Captain, to guard the wood. Kepsen was the royal adviser (said advicer of course) to the king. A shadow named Skern was his enforcer, to kick people in the head for the king. Saersha was named second princess and court wizard, for her dazzling displays that so amazed the king. Wellew had been named the forest adviser, overseeing the welfare of the Silverwood, who'se suggestions Dwunot listened to without understanding any of. Utrisa, an arial who had volunteered to be a second enforcer of the kingdom, which the king would of course allow since it meant more coppers for him.
The King's subjects had grown in number indeed from his intial declaration. Many served no true purpose for him, but by accepting his decree he believed them to serve him, so went his dillusions. Ever with an eye for expanding his power, he still looked to add more to the royal roster of those that would serve the kingdom, and further prove his greatness to the world.
