Chapter 3

I've always been the best around here. The quickest learner, strongest
fighter, most agile opponent. I left to the Assassin's guild as their
brightest prospect. They actually paid my parents to get me. Unheard of.
As I learned, I was still better than all of them. Then, all of a sudden,
the dark-elf Bastinis, starts to improve by huge steps. Stunned I began
following him, seeing what he was doing to improve so much, and there I saw
it. He was paying a transmuter for spells. Next thing you know, he's the
top of the class, just barely besting me. NEVER would he have beat me if not
for that. From that moment on, I knew that I was going to challenge myself.
Any who used magic were weak and needed to be taught a lesson. And I'm the
one who's going to teach them.
