Chapter 1

Upon reaching Darsylon, Kernagor had already made the decision to renounce
the typical Koldflame war doctrine (gto hell with fancy plans, jest bloody
GUT them!h), and decided to develop his understanding of war in a different
way. At Darsylon, despite his occasional about of drunkenness, he studied
(briefly) with a renowned arial captain half his age, and a brilliant elven
warmaster with experience in hundreds of battles, and slowly refined a system
of fighting more suited to his cool, clever, and calculating mind. Oh, and he
grew far more articulate than your average dwarf. The elves were very strict
on that.

However, Kernagor has never lost some of the ideals which were instilled upon
him in his clan -- the ultimate desire to win, to triumph with good over evil,
and earn his clan renown and recognition. In fact, his differences with his
kinsmen made Kernagor only more determined to succeed, to prove that his way
would work. No, to prove that his way was BETTER than the way the clan wanted
him to take.
