Role

Chapter 3

When one least expects for something good to happen is often the time
when something good is brought about. Jalenkan has just woke up from
a nice long nap in his guild and found that the ability to call truesight
wasn't feeling right. It was with a large difficulty that he was able to call it
at all. He quickly scanned over his knowledge of which enemies had
taken which items and made his way toward the imperial city.
Encountering not one, but two sets of centurions... it was not his day. It
was at this time that his lady, Yean, spoke to him.

They spoke of a great deal of ideas, history, who had which approval and
much more, all the while he was battling centurions and in the end, the
vanquisher. During his brief fight Daychil, the captain of the Maran,
showed up to put all of his effort to naught by finishing the vanquisher and
retrieving their orb. Jalenkan could not understand why one of the light
would slight him so until he saw the transmuter with him and immediately
he was aggravated. However he was soon much happier as he had
been given the right to take a hut by his lady and fell the vanquisher soon
after.

The roles we play in life are hardly ever what we are inside. Jalenkan
has grown increasingly more headstrong and arrogant through his many
interactions with others, both of the village and not. He feels anguish
inside any time he feels his beautiful life's pursuit is rendered in the
slightest void. Much was the case when he lost his first dual within the
confines of the Arena. The thought of such has forced him to consider his
desired time for his planned events of seeking his lady, Yean, for
guidance and some understanding and has began his search for her
shrine.
