One thing that Surin avoids is deceiving for the sake of it. Just
to do it, to no gain to himself. He does not wish to be known or spoken about
as a Joker or Baffoon, and will not go out of his way to deceive
or trick others unless it has direct or indirect benefit to him.

When dealing with Lightwalkers, he will keep himself hidden.
Amazing things can be accomplished when they cannot see Surin. They
always assume he is a lightwalker just because he wished to communiate
with them.

Surin has found the presence of preachers irritating. Priests
trying to influence his way of thinking and of being, preching their
poison to him. This is not valid just with priests, He killed Thylan for
repeatedly telling Surin he should teach others about nature. Surin
will not tolerate any infingment on his will, even though it might
seem that he does...for a while.
