Chapter 1

Vurhus was born is a small village east of Arkham. There he lived a life quite
different from that of the others of the village. Unlike them, Vurhus did not
like living in big cities or towns. He had always been drawn to the beauty and
serenity of the natural world, and had chosen to live his life in close contact
with the forests and the animals around his village.
Vurhus' childhood had been spent wandering the forests and hills surrounding his
village, and even then, he had felt more at home among the trees than among
other people, even his family. One day he found a menhir's circle and some
druids were there celebrating the moon's cicles. As he grew older, Vurhus became
increasingly drawn to the ways of those druids, and eventually left his village
to seek out others who shared his love of nature.
For many years, Vurhus lived among other druids, learning from them and sharing
his knowledge of the natural world. He spent much of his time in quiet
contemplation, meditating on the cycles of nature and the ways in which all
living things were connected.
Despite the peace and contentment he found among his fellow druids, Vurhus always
felt a pull back to the forests and the wild places where he had spent so much of
his youth. He grew restless, and eventually decided to strike out on his own,
wandering the forests and mountains of the land, living off the land and
communing with the spirits of the wild. Regardless of the occasional loneliness
he felt, Vurhus was content with his life. He found joy and peace in the quiet of
the forest, in the songs of the birds and the rustle of leaves in the wind.
He lived his life as he saw fit, following the rhythms of the natural world and
the guidance of the spirits that spoke to him in whispers on the wind. And this
is how Vurhus wanders, through the forests and the hills, across rivers and over
mountains. He sees the beauty of the world around him, and feel a deep sense of
gratitude for the chance to live his life in harmony with it. He knows that his
path is not for everyone, but for him, it is the only way to truly be alive.
