Chapter 3

I have started to think about the future as well. When I am able, I will
specialize in fighting with swords. At the same time as I earn the right to
specialize, I will begin learning how to strike the blows of deadly force that
berserkers are known for. I like the idea of being able to stick around in a
fight for a while, and I'm excited about some of the techniques available to a
fully trained blademaster.

I'd considered that it might be more prudent to train in maces or maybe axes,
to keep my enemies around once they decide they'd rather be somewhere else.
I'll need to address that weakness of a swordswoman's training at some point,
and one of the Macalla legacies I eventually learn should probably be able to
help me do so. Of course, there are a lot of them that I've been thinking
about, so time will tell.
