Glymnarch Prison

I have found through rumor and the drunken babble in the inn of a vampire of
Elven origins. The crazed wizard who holds power has imprisoned him in his
volcanic lair. There might be no chance to study this one, my earlier
expeditions there all met with unsatisfactory results. While I may now be
powerful enough to penetrate the wizard's lair, I have been told there are
traps for those he deems to powerful too play his foolish games. Still I may
try to recruit others to do my bidding and have them bring me what they find.


Further Observations:

It has become apparent that none of the vampiric entities I have studied have
used undead minions. Could it be that these are no longer needed given the
potency of their becoming? Or is it something that was sacrificed for the
purpose of the process. Either way it is something to consider. If indeed
there is a path to complete my transformation I should explore every avenue
of possibility. There are things the guild can teach me to make my own spells
more potent should I face adversaries in single combat, the should be
considered.
