Chapter 3

Brexamir hates feeling powerless. It scares him. Feeling fear is something
Brex doesn't deal with well. His voice raises, he becomes loud and near
unbearable to certain people. He hates magic not because of its power, but
because of its insidiousness. The way it slowly, in the guise of aid, took
his peoples jobs, and then their way of life and he couldn't see any way of
stopping it. They call it progress. He left and went to the warriors guild
hoping to someday join the Village. He thinks that if he can help them in
their cause, then everything can go back to "normal" and he can return home.
Back to the old days........The old ways.
