Chapter 1

Once in the ruined city, formerly Tar Valon, Polmier came upon the guildmaster
of Jacob the Black Taint. Polmier and Jacob did not see eye to eye from the beginning.
Polmier had contracted poison, twice while very young and had a nature distrust of poisons
He had no desire to learn about poisons but Jacob kept insisting, trying to convince him,
but Polmier would hear no of it. Soon he left, hearing of a grand, glamrous city
to the southwest. A city full of riches. The city of galadon.

Polmier really liked Galadon from the moment he saw it. He soon learned of a
Glinar in the thieves guild. For thieving was what he was always good at so
why not pursue it further. Over time Glinar taught him many things.
Polmier would turn around and use those skills to aquire great material gain.
He became very wealth and soon started donating that wealth to the galadon thieves guild.
The older he got and the more he donated, he started to notice the power he
started to have. Both in the guild and in the city. He became greedy for this power and
this wealth. He does enjoy it so, he could never have enough.
With this power and increased wealth, he became greedy for one more thing, knowledge.
He sought knowledge of men, knowledge of the lands, and knowledge of great trinkets.

Polmier did all this while working around the law.

Polmier would lie, cheat, steal, console, or whatever else it takes to get and keep what
he wants.
