Chapter 2

The magister of ice wiped the tendrils of frost from his face and continued
to delve into the scrying waters. Shivering to himself he continued to
whisper to himself. Soon more visions began to appear.
"I....will...remember.....", he coughed as his eyes focused on the pool.

The high sorceress adjusted her glasses as she looked out over the class of
young men. Her petite form was cloaked in long flowing robes which hide her
form from prying eyes. Her knees wobbled slightly as she caught her breathe.
Without thinking she patted down her hair and licked her lips. She glanced
nervously over the top of her lecture book and locked eyes on the one that
tormented her. Dedication to her art and the rigors of teaching had robbed
her of the social skills of a middle aged woman. She was frustrated at the
effect the handsome youth was having on her.

She smiled faintly as she noticed the seductive smile that began to play upon
his face. She continued to read from the lecture material as they stole
glances in each others direction.. The other students seemed oblivious to
their growing intimacy, heads buried in their notebooks. The aspiring mage
began to silently drum his fingers upon the desk She felt her heart rate
quicken as his eyes began to take on a darker hue.

The slow dance of seduction continued unbeknownst to the rest of the class.
Finally after another twenty minutes the class came to an end. The students
all rose to their feet and began streaming from the classroom. The mage in
white continued to sit at his desk, focused on his spellbook. He looked up
from the corner of his eyes and grinned as he watched her lock the class
door. They were alone at last.

The high sorceress walked slowly to his desk, a hesitant look upon her face.
The young man rose to meet her and reached out his arms. She rushed forward
as her desires overcame her fears. Clutching at his back she began to kiss
him deeply on the lips. The young mage whispered something quietly and ran
his hands around the sorceresss back. She shuddered as she gave herself
over to her animal urges.

A pale plume of frost began to form in the air above the kissing mages. It
seemed to pour from the very core of the young mage. The sorceress gasped
suddenly and began to pull away from the young man. He locked his arms
around her back and pressed his mouth with more force upon her face.

A light crackling sound began to spread through the air. The sorceress
slumped in the youths arms as he continued to press his mouth to hers. A
blueish tinge began to spread across her face as something passed from the
young mage.

A few moments of pained silence and the young mage released his grip. The
sorceress fell back from his arms, a frozen statue of ice. The mage grinned
as shadows began to coalesce about his form. Stepping over her prone form he
walked to her desk and pocketed her tomb of shifting magic.

As he walked from the empty classroom he whispered another word of magic.
His progression in the arts was quickly improving.
