#38, "Remove XP losses on NPC KB for a PK."

So, I was replying to a thread, and then I was wondering if this was something that could be done, or if it exists already, which would be great.

I am fine with XP loss for mob deaths and the like. However, when a guy jumps a ranking guy or whatever, and the NPC lands the killing blow, the PC still gets the PK credit and I believe you still get the xp loss as if it were a mob loss. Even in cases where the guy flees/teleports into Graazar and dies, it would be nice if it was treated as a PK death. Most of the times, without the guy attacking them, they wouldn't die to the NPC in those situations.

So, does that situation count as a PK for xp loss purposes? Since we don't lose xp for a Pk death where a PC lands the final blow, and this situation is now credited as a PK win, maybe the xp hole shouldn't hit the defeated when the NPC lands the killing blow?

Thanks for listening.

I don't necessarily think that just because someone gets credit for killing you (which in and of itself doesn't hurt you or incur its own penalty) that you should get a break on a regular mob death. It also doesn't look easy to do based on how/where we track this stuff.
