There were a couple of requests that sounded pretty similar, so instead of replying individually we'll do this.

For now, I'm only going to go as far as adding some additional logging around this stuff and observing for a while. Off the cuff, the numbers look reasonable and while there's certainly the possibility that things get wonky every now and then based on individual characters and log ins/out, etc., I don't feel like things are quite as broken as some folks might.
