All directions can be entered, west loops back to my current room. Scan looks now like this:

sca all
You scan north.
***** Range 1 *****
A large log floats through the swamp.

You scan south.
You scan east.
You scan west.
***** Range 1 *****

You scan up.
You scan down.

After the change, it would look like this:

sca all
You scan north.
***** Range 1 *****
A large log floats through the swamp.
