You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#92, "Bard trainer in the past"

If there is one already, I apologize.

But walking all the way back to the present while leveling is a bit of a hassle--especially with how many useful things bards learn between level 10-18. Everyone else can train/practice at the Recruiter; warriors have an even better option with the Bladesman.

Addendum: If you decide to make a bard trainer in the past, maybe give it some instruments to sell, or even a decent mid-high level comedic instrument. My comedic bard had a difficult time finding any 40+ options for the comedic repertoire. But there are plenty of romantic, tragic and epic options available for the 35-45 level range.

Just curious if one or both parts (bard trainer + comedic instrument) of the Santa Zulg was implemented. And is it too much to ask if a trainer was implemented in the form of the recruiter now offering bard songs, or as a whole new mob?

Thanks for once again putting your time and effort into a hugely successful Santa Zulg season
