Make charge weapon possible to be casted on a wielded weapon, or optionally give an echo when it wears off? It's a small change, but I think the spell is fairly niche as is, since very few weapons invokers actually end up using are made of metal. With a norem weapon using the spell becomes a huge hassle, since it's hard to put it up with 2 rounds of lag, and no way of knowing when it wears off. It's definately not a game breaker, but would perhaps increase the use of one spell.
