The object here is to remove all the combat spam familiars provide with a toggle available to all familiars.

Example:

The crazed forest burner's burning touch scratches a mischevious djinn.
>> The crazed forest burner's burning touch scratches you.
The crazed forest burner's burning touch scratches a mischevious djinn.
>> The crazed forest burner's burning touch scratches you.
A mischevious djinn is blinded by the dirt in its eyes!
>> You can't see a thing!
The crazed forest burner's kicked dirt scratches a mischevious djinn.
>> Someone's kicked dirt scratches you.
A mischevious djinn's rending gale injures the crazed forest burner.
>> Your rending gale injures someone.
>> Someone's wrath decimates someone!
Your wrath decimates the crazed forest burner!
The crazed forest burner is writhing in agony.


I would clean it up to something like this:

The crazed forest burner's burning touch scratches a mischevious djinn.
The crazed forest burner's burning touch scratches a mischevious djinn.
A mischevious djinn is blinded by the dirt in its eyes!
The crazed forest burner's kicked dirt scratches a mischevious djinn.
A mischevious djinn's rending gale injures the crazed forest burner.
Your wrath decimates the crazed forest burner!
The crazed forest burner is writhing in agony.


This way there isn't so much spam that your familiar is actually more of an annoyance than a benefit. Basically you'd see it getting hit and the attacks that hit just like any other servitor.
