You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#1, "On Spheres, Religion, BattleRagers and Online Times"

I would like to thank the Immortals and the playerbase for welcoming me back with open arms. I would also like to thank Woldrun and BattleRagers for completing a very long-winded quest to get me fully active. There were quite a few player antagonists and protagonists that were a part of the quest and tying up their storylines was absolutely necessary. Many thanks for your patience.

I: Spheres: My current spheres are Fire, Strength and Purity. These spheres follow the process of the Forge and the basis for my religion. Keep in mind that this may change but my hope is that it does not.

II: Religion: My religion and shrine are not quite yet open again. We want to make sure both the religion and the spheres don't overlap another active religion. This does not mean that I won't help with the empowerment process or with pushing my religion goals. I will still play a very active role in discussing these concepts with potential followers.

III: BattleRagers: I am a returning player. Keep this in mind. I'm did not return to Carrion Field to shake up the system or to step on any toes. In fact, I think Kastellyn, Yean and Ysal have done an amazing job with the cabal and I want to help support their efforts and their vision for Battle. I will help discipline the cabal and generate ideas for it but I will not be the driving force behind the cabal without their approval.

IV: Online Times: You can find me online now from 9 PM EST to 12 AM EST. I cannot promise that I'll be online every day but I'll definately make the effort to be online any evening possible. My priorities at both work and home will dictate whether I can be available on any given day.

- I'm really excited to be back and I have a lot of motivation to help in specific areas of the mud. I will spend most of my online time running or helping to run quests. Interaction is the key which will allow me to immerse myself into this game again.

If you have any questions or concerns, this is the forum for it. Fire away.

Lord Hammersong,

Nobody could boil me blood, flare my nostrils, and lather me up into a furry like you my Lord. Your songs and wisdom, your race to the battlefield, blinding common sense with a reckless abondon for the destruction of them magi has inspired many like this old drunken Duergar. Me Kin all worship you, as I tell them stories at the fire pit. Few believe I put the head back on the Throne, fewer can read the words that tell them.

If they every dig out a few lower level cave pits in the Village, let me know and i'll move back in. I dont like sleeping in those huts.

The heavens know my hatred still eats at me. How I just want to CHARGE!! at them with me Poleaxe.

I have had one Wizard get my tattoo in the past. He had exceptional RP and understood the religion very, very well.

I don't discriminate when it comes to my religion.

I heard a crapload of how awesome it was to rp with you. I'm a relatively new player (4-5 years?) and my favorite imm to rp with (Eshval) left...so I've been left in a rut recently until you came by.

So yea, I look forward to following you about.

Always good to see some good old people coming back to help out the great staff we got. It's like seeing old friends at the front door!
