Possibly make a low-level observation skill that allows you to compair two containers or two drink containers to see which of the two will hold more weight/fluid.

Pretty sure this exists already today with basic compare...

A tanned leather backpack looks like it would hold a lot less than A belt of braided storm giant skin.
