You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

it would give warriors a chance to stop these monstrasities as well as it being perfectly logical to knock a bird near the ground out of the air, ECT.

And with that though perhaps some maldictions like boneshatter and artery out to keep them from having the strength to fly up and away. Just a thought.

Maledictions do make it harder (and can be almost impossible) for air shifters to fly away. It was a bit more noticeable before a lot of our shifter players became smart enough to start gearing for stat coverage.

IMO, this has already been tipped to now sit slightly in favor of the warrior (where once shifters could tear warriors a new one without raising a sweat). Making it further favor the warrior would just be mean.

I consider this one pretty balanced. first they have to have an air form, and second you have to be a polespec. Just curious as if this has even come up around the staff.
