The hosting company that provides hosting for the forums did some upgrades that changed some file paths around unexpectedly and required updating some configuration on our end. Being as these are some janky as #### 20 year old Perl scripts around which nothing is documented, it took a minute to figure out exactly what was broken and how.

All should be better going forward.

Some fairly notable characters are dying, that probably deserve death threads.

And with discord in full swing, the battlefield is really the only reason to come to the forums anymore.

The Battlefields has always been the best/most active part. People who die are welcome to make their own death threads (and always have been able to). I wouldn't make a death thread for someone else, since it's their call if they want it or not.

Otherwise we're just waiting till it can get fixed .
