How to make edge Erode Confidence work? What repertoire you must be in and what prefrred to have?

Its automatic, happens when fighting.

Its PvP only so don't expect to see anything PvE.

That I could tell nothing else matters. And yes there is an echo, which is fairly easy to recognize.
